At the event: Access Support Desk

The Access Support Desk is a dedicated information point at the event to assist and support festival attendees with disability and/or specific access needs. 

The Access Support Desk is staffed by volunteer Access Support Liaisons who can support you by providing resources in alternative formats, providing access support equipment and assistance with event accommodations. 

The Access Support Desk is located directly outside of Building 16, at the entrance to the festival. Resources available at the Access Support Desk include: 

Information

• Festival information including maps and activity information.

• Public transport information including information about taxi services and bus routes.

• After Dark session information 

Access support equipment

• N95 Masks, hand sanitiser and disinfectant wipes

• An Assistance animal water station

• First Aid Kit

• Sensory Support kits

• Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Stickers for attendees

Access Support Liaisons

Volunteer Access Support Liaisons will be available throughout the event. Access Support Liaison will be wearing a yellow hi-vis vest with the title ‘Access Support Liaison’ written in black text. To easily find an Access Support Liaison, please visit the Access Support desk. 

Access Support Phone

During the event, an Access Support Phone will be available for any assistance you may need. 

The number for the Access Support Phone is: 0403 932 625.

If you require support, please do not hesitate to call. However, in case of an emergency, please dial 000 immediately.

Examples of when it is appropriate to call the Access Support Phone:

• If you have trouble locating event facilities (e.g., restrooms, Access Support Desk).

• If you need assistance with accessibility features (e.g., wheelchair access, event navigation, sensory support).

• If you need information or guidance regarding the event schedule or activities.

• If you have any non-emergency medical concerns or need minor first aid.
